This blog is designed to support residents spouses and partners while in medical school and residency. Decorating, fitness, cooking, and even being "domestic" (or at least trying to be). I love creating stationary and doing calligraphy! I create invitations for all ocassions. I am 29 years old, newly married, and was just transplanted from my sweet southern life to upstate New York. This blog is just a touch of what my life is like on a daily basis. Welcome to it!

LAST WEEK OF PGY2....I am about to LOSE IT!!!
What does my husband look like again? Has anyone seen him in the last 12 months? Please, I need to be reminded of what he looks like before he comes home! I dont want to think he is an intruder...those of you that think I am kidding, keep laughing. Those of you that know what I am talking about, you know my pain. Geez. To think I could possibly get sick of having him around is delightful...we will see how this goes. I am currently trying to keep my spirits up in the midst of BS at work and being so incredibly lonely. So, I decided that today would be the perfect time to recreate the 2013 Pottery Barn Flag Banner. It is made of burlap, one of life's true staples.
When I went to pick one up at the Pottery Barn here in Syracuse, I was informed that they are completely sold out in the store and online. Where does that leave me....? OF COURSE! I will make one! So begins the adventure of another creation AND something to take my mind off being alone, again. I have to remember to take DR. some dinner, he is IN HOUSE call tonight. This leaves me to make a HUGE mess, if I want:).

Well, I am back. Back from a long, long winter and a few bumps. Broken leg has healed and allergy asthma is getting better. B is still really busy but definitely home more than the last 12 months. I have decided to start placing my creations and information on the steps to create them on this blog. I really like sharing how I make things and, believe it or not, talking through the blog to other people about their creations as well. Talking, yes, lots of talking.
